Bike World Myanmar

Bike World was created in the minds of a few bikers minds back in 2004 and came to fruition with the opening of Yangon branch in 2007 followed by Mandalay and Bagan in 2008. The business is managed by a former Myanmar champion whose passion for cycling continues to this day on and off the road.

Bike World stocks popular internationally renown brands like Trek, GT, Giant, Gary Fisher, Mongoose, Kona, Raleigh & Schimn. Spare parts and accessories manufactured by Shimano and Xtram are stocked.

Bike World enthusiastically promotes cycling as a means of travel for business and pleasure whilst at the same time recognizing the resultant health benefits and benefits to the environment.

• Back in 2004 a group of men would meet up every Sunday to cycle.
• The small group grew larger and larger.
• The cyclists realized how hard it was to buy spare parts.
• One of the cyclists dreamed of opening a bike tour business.
• This dream became a reality when they met Ko Kyi. A winner of the Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon 1000 miles race.
• Together they created Bike World in 2007. More of a hobby than a business.
• Since then the group has grown numerously and we would love for it to grow even more.
